Privacy Policy

AcquireSponsor ("we", "us") operates acquiresponsor.com — a marketplace connecting content creators and brand sponsors. Contact: r@acquiresponsor.com.

• Account data — name, email, password (hashed, when you set one), username, role (creator/sponsor), profile details you provide.
• Sign-in with X — if you use Sign in with X, X provides your X user ID, display name, username, profile photo URL, and (if you grant email access) the confirmed email on that X account. See section 3.
• Usage data — posts, messages, deals, notifications, and activity on the platform.
• Payment data — processed by Stripe; we store related IDs and status, not full card numbers.
• Technical data — IP address, device/browser info, cookies needed for sessions and security.

Sign in with X is optional. We use X's OAuth 2.0 so you can create or access an AcquireSponsor account without giving us your X password. We never collect or store X passwords.

When you authorize our app, we request only what we need to identify you: profile read access and your confirmed email. X also requires a posts-read scope for that identity call; we do not download, store, or display your posts, likes, followers, or Direct Messages, and we do not post, follow, or message on X for you.

Email. If you grant email access, X sends us the confirmed email on your X account. We store it as your AcquireSponsor account email and use it to send receipts, deal and payment notices, security and verification messages, and account recovery. You can change that address on the signup screen before the account is created. Completing signup is your consent to associate that X identity with the email you confirm — an identifier outside X.

Newsletter. New accounts are added to our Beehiiv newsletter by default. You can uncheck that box at signup or unsubscribe in Settings. Transactional email is required to operate the Service.

We share with X only what is required to complete OAuth (sending you to X to sign in and receiving tokens and profile fields back). We do not sell X data, and we do not use X data for surveillance or to build off-platform advertising profiles. You can revoke the app in your X account settings; that stops future X access but does not delete your AcquireSponsor account.

• Provide and improve the marketplace (matching, deals, messaging).
• Authenticate you, secure accounts, and prevent abuse.
• Send transactional email (verification, password reset, receipts, deal and payment notices).
• Send product or marketing email (the newsletter) unless you uncheck it at signup or unsubscribe later.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

We share data with service providers that help us operate, including:

• Hosting and infrastructure (e.g. Vercel, Render)
• Database (MongoDB Atlas)
• Email (SendGrid) and newsletter (Beehiiv, when enabled)
• Payments (Stripe)
• Media hosting (Cloudinary, when enabled)
• Identity providers you choose (X, and Google or LinkedIn when enabled) — only to complete sign-in

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication and preferences. You can clear browser storage, which will sign you out.

We keep account and transaction records while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and accounting purposes. You may request deletion subject to those needs.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact r@acquiresponsor.com.

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). Do not create an account if you are under that age.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice.
